I feel like I always say this, but whew- August was a hectic month!
I spent the first part of the month busy launching some new initiatives for my startup, USLeads.org and prepping for the relaunch/redesign of this blog. Midway through the month I got an unfortunate bout of salmonella poisoning. A few days after recovering, I ran a 5k (well, “ran” is a stretch- I still wasn’t at 100%, after all!).
At the end of the month, my parents drove up from Phoenix, Arizona to visit me and my husband. We had a lot of fun escorting them around wineries and some of the cities and towns in the Bay Area.
Overall, it was a busy month full of lots of work, some play, and more food poisoning than I’d like (the amount I’d like is 0, obviously!) Hoping to catch some rest and relaxation as we head into September.
